Rosenstock to receive 'Outstanding Achievement' Award

Mario Rosenstock, the creator of Today FM's 'Gift Grub', is to be presented with the Annual PPI Radio 'Outstanding Achievement' Award.

Previous winners of the award include Micheal O' Muircheataigh, Marian Finucane and Des Whelan of WLR fm.

Mr Rosenstock will be presented with the award at Friday's event in Kilkenny, attended by hundreds of broadcasters from around the country.

He has previously won six PPI Radio awards for 'Gift Grub' and last year sold 45,000 tickets for his live tour.

The radio sketch is in its 12th year and will take to the stage again in November for a new live show in the Olympia theatre in Dublin.

Rosenstock said that he is thrilled with the award.
