Polanski celebrates Zurich film-festival triumph

Two years ago, police in Zurich, Switzerland, led Roman Polanski away to prison - but the Oscar-winning director returned last night to a very different reception in the city.

He was greeted with applause and recognition and picked up a cinematic award. He also released a “memoir” of his life that had been treated like a state secret.
