Actor Sizemore arrested for battery

Los Angeles police have arrested actor Tom Sizemore.

Officer Rosario Herrera said the 49-year-old was arrested this morning on an outstanding warrant for misdemeanour battery.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department website said Sizemore had posted bail and had been released.

Sizemore, who appeared in 'Black Hawk Down' and 'Saving Private Ryan', has had a string of drug-related arrests in recent years.

He was convicted in 2003 of domestic violence involving his ex-girlfriend, former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.
