Winslet confesses to pre-Emmy 'panic'

Kate Winslet confessed to a pre-ceremony “panic” ahead of the recent Emmy Awards.

The actress, who emotionally accepted a gong for her role in mini-series 'Mildred Pierce', admitted she suffers from a phobia of such events.

“I do, and I always panic about an hour or so before I hit the carpet,” she told E!’s Ryan Seacrest.

“And then when you get here you realise, you know what, it’s just a carpet, and I’ve done this before, and why am I worrying?”
