DeVito set to direct film in Ireland

Danny DeVito is set to direct his next film in Ireland, it has emerged.

'The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle', starring Morgan Freeman and Pierce Brosnan, will begin shooting here next year.

Set in the 1930s, it tells the story of young Charlotte Doyle and her adventures on the high seas with a ruthless captain and a mutinous crew.
