Separated Jedward on brink of 'losing it' on CBB

Jedward are struggling to cope on 'Celebrity Big Brother' after being split up.

The pop duo usually do everything together but have been forced apart since Sunday night as part of the 'Celebrity Battle of the Bands' task are are on the brink of "losing it".

While Edward is having to slum it in the garden with a sleeping bag and survive on packed lunches as a 'groupie', John is enjoying a life of luxury inside the house and slap-up meals.

A source said: "They're hating it. They're never really apart and this is like torture for them. The pair have to be monitored very closely."

During the latest task, boy band Take This – made up of John, Paddy Doherty, Darren Lyons and Bobby Sabel – beat 'girl band' KELA – Edward, Kerry Katona, Lucien Laviscount and Amy Childs – and the winning group have been allowed to live like pop stars.

As a punishment, the losers must act like fans who camp out in all weathers to worship their idols.

The latest demands from Take This has seen each member asking their groupie to separate their favourite coloured sweet from the rest in a large bucket of treats.

When a groupie has finished, they must bring their sorted sweets to the diary room for Big Brother to check.

Successful groupies can then present their idol band member’s with their sweets and return to be a normal housemate again.
