Bloom wants Strummer role in biopic

Orlando Bloom wants to play Joe Strummer in a biopic of the late singer.

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor is a huge fan of The Clash singer - who died in 2002 at the age of 50 and is one of the most iconic figures of the British punk movement - and thinks his eventful life will make for a great film.
