'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' stays top of US box office

Rebellious apes have held off southern maids for a narrow win at the weekend US cinema box office.

Studio estimates pegged 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' at $27.5m (€19.2m), good enough for its second-straight top finish.
