Underworld and Rubberbandits added to Electric Picnic line-up

More acts have today been announced to play the Electric Picnic arts and music festival this September.

Techno behemoths Underworld return to Stradbally after a standout performance in 2008.

A host of Irish acts have also been added to the bill, including Limerick comedy collective The Rubberbandits, Sharon Corr, Bob Geldof, Republic of Loose, Donal Dineen’s Parish and Ghost Estates.

They will be joined by international acts Niki & the Dove, The Black Angels, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, M. Ward, Foster the People, I am Kloot and Everything Everything.

Electric Picnic takes place at Stradbally Hall, Co Laois, on September 2-4.

Tickets are still available for the event from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide, priced at €240 for weekend camping tickets or €99.50 for Sunday day tickets (subject to service charges).
