Former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue, singer VV Brown and model Ana Beatriz Barros will no longer feature in Marks & Spencer advertising campaigns, it emerged today.
It is understood model Twiggy, radio DJ Lisa Snowdon and former footballer Jamie Redknapp will continue to promote the brand.
The line-up of celebrities featured in the company’s famous campaigns has frequently changed.
The Christmas commercials are particularly star-studded and have included celebrities such as Take That, Stephen Fry, Joanna Lumley, Life on Mars actor Philip Glenister, Shirley Bassey and even Wallace and Gromit.
Models Laura Bailey, Erin O’Connor and Lily Cole, Mick Jagger’s daughter Lizzy and television presenter Myleene Klass have also modelled for the brand.
A recent advertising campaign featured Twiggy, Minogue, Snowdon, Brown and Barros on a sun-drenched trip to Miami.
A spokeswoman for Marks and Spencer said: “For competitive reasons we don’t comment on our future advertising plans.”
A spokeswoman for VV Brown said: “VV and M&S enjoyed an extremely successful relationship for many seasons, however, due to VV’s other music commitments, it was mutually agreed that this would be her last campaign.”
Barros said: "Ana was happy to work with them (M&S) on the contract but she is a very busy international fashion model and this was just one of the many contracts she has running worldwide."
