Lowe set to strip for Playboy

Daisy Lowe is set to appear naked in Playboy.

The 22-year-old model – who has previously posed for fashion publications Vogue and W – will strip off in an eight-page spread in the September edition of the iconic men's magazine, which is set to be released on August 12.

Daisy – who is currently dating 'Doctor Who' actor Matt Smith – will travel to editor Hugh Hefner's famous Playboy Mansion for the photo shoot.

The beautiful brunette - who is the daughter of musician-turned-designer Pearl Lowe and Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale – previously posed topless for the 2010 Pirelli Calendar and admitted she found the sexy shoot liberating.

She said: "It was quite freeing, being able to be naked for a week."

Daisy has previously explained being "sexy" is a "big part" of her identity, and she believes it is empowering for women to be in control of their sexuality.

She said: "I suppose I've been very in touch with the 'sexy' thing since I was 15.

"I guess it's a big part of my identity, something that I have learnt to switch into. It's because I'm a girl's girl. I'm not the bitchy girl who's trying to make your boyfriend fancy me. The only reason I ever 'do' sexy is because I like to encourage women to feel sexy about themselves."
