Cheryl Cole and Derek Hough have "patched up their differences".

The former couple – who have clashed over the 'Promise This' singer's decision to reunite with ex-husband Ashley Cole – have met three times during Cheryl's recent trip to Los Angeles, with Derek leaving "smiling from ear to ear”.
