Oxegen organisers expect thousands today
Thousands of people will be making their way to Co. Kildare later today for Oxegen 2011.
Campsites opened yesterday but the majority of people are expected to make their way to Punchestown this afternoon.
The Script, Foofighters, Coldplay, Black Eyed Peas and Beyonce are just some of the acts that will take to the stage over the weekend.
Superintendent John Gilligan from the Garda Press Office said there is a major traffic and security operation now in place.
Meanwhile, festival goers can get their wellies spray-painted in the name of charity.
Reachout.com, an online mental health service for young people, will give your wellies a graffiti make-over in return for a small donation.
The Give It Welly campaign is taking place throughout the weekend and festival-goers can even win a prize of tickets for next year's festival.
