McCartney wins best live act award

Sir Paul McCartney has been honoured at a music awards event as the year's best live act.

Sir Paul McCartney has been honoured at a music awards event as the year's best live act.

The music legend has won a public vote at the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards.

He has headlined London's Hyde Park and a more intimate show at The 100 Club in front of just a few hundred fans.

Other winners include Annie Lennox and Liza Minnelli.
