Walsh accuser charged with making false allegation

A man is due to appear in court shortly after being arrested on suspicion of making a false allegation against music promotor Louis Walsh.

Yesterday the garda investigation into the allegations was dropped and a 24-year-old man was arrested. He is due to appear in court in Dublin this afternoon.

'X Factor' judge Walsh has vowed to vigorously pursue action against the Sun newspaper, which first printed the claims.
