Gardaí continue to question man in connection with Walsh assault allegations

Gardaí are continuing to question a man on suspicion of making a false allegation against Louis Walsh.

The 24-year-old, who was arrested yesterday morning, is being held at Pearse Street Garda Station in Dublin.

It comes after gardaí dropped an alleged sexual assault case against the 58-year-old 'X Factor' judge.

However, the pop mogul says he has no intention of letting the matter rest until he has received total and absolute vindication, and is planning legal action against the Sun newspaper which first published the allegations.
