Speaking at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Paul McCartney was asked about the possibility of playing with Ringo Starr.

McCartney's response was: "Why would I want to do that?"

Starr, who has been on a UK tour recently, had asked McCartney to come on stage with him, but his old pal had been too busy.
