Paltrow makes surprise appearance at Glee concert

Gwyneth Paltrow made a surprise appearance at ‘Glee Live! In Concert!’ last night.

The actress – who has appeared in the musical TV drama as substitute teacher Holly Holliday – performed a rendition of Cee Lo Green’s ‘Forget You’ at the show at the Izod Center in New Jersey and sent the audience into a frenzy.

Gwyneth’s shock appearance came as Naya Rivera was giving a speech boasting how her character, cheerleader Santana Lopez, had been voted the sexiest girl in glee club only for the Oscar-winning actress to burst on stage in high stiletto boots and a short skirt to declare “oh, not so fast!”

Gwyneth, 38, wasn’t the only unannounced performer on the night. Jane Lynch performed as cheerleading squad coach Sue Sylvester. In other concerts on the tour the segment featuring Sylvester was a recording.

The New Jersey show was filmed for the 3D concert movie which is being released later this summer.
