Duchess of York struggling to pay debts

Sarah Ferguson has admitted she is "continually on the verge of bankruptcy".

The Duchess of York makes the tearful revelation in the first part of a documentary on Oprah Winfrey's TV channel.

She said she is struggling to repay debts to three personal friends and three businesses.

The duchess blames her inability to manage her finances, after years spent receiving a royal allowance.
