Tointon 'relieved' at EastEnders exit

Kara Tointon was “relieved” when she was written out of ‘EastEnders’.

The actress – who played Dawn Swann in the BBC soap until 2009 – got caught up in the show’s “bubble” and even started answering to her character’s name, but ultimately found the job repetitive and “boring”.
