'EastEnders' boss Bryan Kirkwood is "really proud" of the baby-swap storyline.

The executive producer explained while the controversial plot - which involved distressed Ronnie Branning (Samantha Womack) swapping her dead baby with Kat Moon's (Jessie Wallace) tot - attracted "a great deal of scrutiny", it was "captivating".
