'Sherlock' triumphs on TV BAFTA night

Detective drama 'Sherlock' was a double winner at the TV Baftas - but a newcomer beat its star to the best actor award.

Detective drama 'Sherlock' was a double winner at the TV Baftas - but a newcomer beat its star to the best actor award.

The BBC1 show, an updated version of Arthur Conan Doyle's classic stories, triumphed over its competitors, winning the best drama series title and best supporting actor prize for Martin Freeman, who plays Watson.
