Bouncing boy for 'Lost' star Lilly
Evangeline Lilly has given birth to a baby boy.
The 31-year-old actress and her long-term boyfriend Norman Kali - who she met when he worked as a production assistant on âLostâ, in which she starred as plane crash survivor Kate Austin â have welcomed their first child into the world, according to USmagazine.com.
While no further details are yet available, Evangeline recently admitted she was planning on taking a break from her acting career to raise her child.
She said: âIâm definitely planning on taking a break for a little while. I consider acting a day job â itâs not my dream; itâs not my be-all, end-all.â
The brunette beauty has made no secret of her desire to start a family, saying she has âalways wantedâ to become a mother.
Evangeline said: âI have always wanted to have a child of my own and I will always want to go through the gift that women have been given to experience that, so I hope to be a mother at some point."
After conceiving naturally, it is likely the couple may adopt their next child, as in the past the star has claimed she intends to adopt so she can give a home to a disadvantaged child.
She explained: âFor a very long time, I have had intentions to adopt. We have a huge population problem on Earth. We're not going to protect the Earth the way we need to protect it if we don't stop making so many babies. I think I can allow myself one child - and from then on, I think I would have to adopt. It makes sense not to add to the population problem.â
