Mayo's Féile na Tuaithe kicks off

The Féile na Tuaithe festival taking place in Co Mayo this weekend will host music, dancing, food and crafts from all over Ireland.

Last year, 25,000 people attended the free event.

Spokesperson Tony Candon said the festival's 16 different craft-demonstrators, including basket-makers and blacksmiths, would add something special to the event, as would the musicians and other artists who are taking part.
