Prime Suspect to get US makeover

Hit crime drama 'Prime Suspect' is being turned into a series for US audiences, with the action transferring to New York.

Actress Maria Bello – whose screen credits include 'A History of Violence' – will take on the role made famous by Helen Mirren.
