Depp looking forward to break
Johnny Depp wants some "time off".
The 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' actor - who has films 'The Rum Diary' and 'Hugo Cabret' coming out this year - would like to take some time out from Hollywood because he has been working "non-stop".
He said: "The problem with my situation is that my dance card has been very full over the last couple of years and I've been working pretty much non-stop.
"It would be nice to take some time off."
Despite wanting a break, Johnny thinks he will likely be playing Captain Jack Sparrow - who he has played in four instalments of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' until he gets a lot older.
He said: "I think they can wheel me in, have my dreads get tangle in the wheels of my chair."
However, the 47-year-old actor cannot foresee another foray into directing following on from 1997 movie 'The Brave'.
He told The Independent’s Arts and Books: "Leading in my own movie? No, I tried that once.
"The idea of directing is a strange idea for me because I sort of feel anti-mathematic in the way, I don't like when things makes sense. I prefer when they don't so if I'll make a film, it wouldn't make any sense and no one would see it."
