AC/DC are hoping to release a new album "within the next couple of years".

Angus Young - lead guitarist in the band - revealed the plans at the group's 'AC/DC Live At River Plate' DVD premiere at the Hammersmith Apollo in London last night and explained his hopes that they will also be touring again soon.
