RTE is defending a High Court claim by a Wicklow man that he came up with the idea for TV show 'Celebrity Bainisteoir'.

RTE is defending a High Court claim by a Wicklow man that he came up with the idea for TV show 'Celebrity Bainisteoir'.

Patrick Kinsella of Callowhill, Newtown alleges the finished product was about 80% based on an idea he had pitched to editors in 2007 for a reality game show to be called 'Top Coach' or 'Top Manager'.

Mr Kinsella is representing himself in the action, which is also against two of RTE's commissioning editors, and the show's writer, Fiona Looney.
