'X Factor' host admits to 'man crush'

Dermot O'Leary has a "man crush" on Benedict Cumberbatch.

The 'X Factor' host – who narrowly missed out on the presenting job on the US version of the show – admitted after meeting the 'Sherlock' actor at January's National TV Awards, he has developed a crush on the star.

He said: "I met Benedict Cumberbatch at the National TV Awards and I now have a slight man crush on him."

The 37-year-old star also revealed he counts a number of celebrities as close friends, including 'X Factor' judges Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole – who have quit the show to concentrate on the US launch – 'Gavin & Stacey' star James Corden and chat show host Jonathan Ross.

Dermot added to heat magazine: "James Corden, Jonathan Ross, Bear Grylls, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole are all in my mobile contacts.

"Corden was the last one to get in touch, because I had Guillemots on my radio show and he wanted to say they were his favourite band."
