'Doctor Who' star rushed to hospital after accident

'Doctor Who' star Matt Smith was rushed to hospital yesterday after splitting his head open.

The actor - who plays the 11th doctor in the BBC One sci-fi show - tripped over in his flat while celebrating with his co-stars after they had finished filming the second part of the programme's current series and had to be taken to the nearby University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff to receive treatment.
