Renee Zellweger held an intimate birthday party for 15 guests at her New York City apartment.
While many Hollywood stars were in the city over last week for the Tribeca film festival, the 'Chicago' actress opted for a low key celebration to mark her turning 42 at her home in Manhattan.
Among the guests on Saturday were several industry big hitters, including producer Harvey Weinstein, Managing Director of the Creative Artists Agency Bryan Lourd, and Renee's long-time manager John Carrabino, with a source telling the New York Post newspaper the party was "very grown-up."
Renee - who split from actor Bradley Cooper at the end of March after dating him for two years - held a more public party on her actual birthday on Monday at the city's Indochine restaurant, where she was spotted with hotelier Andre Balazs, who was described as "very attentive", although they are not thought to be dating.
A source added: "He and Renee are just good friends. They have known each other for a long time."
Meanwhile, Bradley partied in Los Cabos, Mexico, over the Easter weekend.
He attended producer Ryan Kavanaugh's bachelor party at venue Villa 322, and other guests included actor Leonardo DiCaprio and several of Ryan's friends.
