Mendes: Marriage 'unnecessary'

Eva Mendes has called marriage an "unnecessary" tradition.

Although the 'Last Night' actress has been dating Peruvian filmmaker George Augusto for almost a decade she has never felt the need to walk down the aisle, and now says she thinks people only partake in the "very old tradition" because it is expected of them.
