Plenty to enjoy in 'TT3D: Closer to the Edge'

The thrills and spills, the triumphs and heartaches, the daring and the danger of the world’s toughest motor-cycle races are quite brilliantly captured in De Argues’ white-knuckle documentary that looks at the special appeal of the Isle of Man event, and claiming to be the first ever 3D sports film.

Director: Richard De Aragues

Narrator: Jared Leto

Cert: 15

The thrills and spills, the triumphs and heartaches, the daring and the danger of the world’s toughest motor-cycle races are quite brilliantly captured in De Argues’ white-knuckle documentary that looks at the special appeal of the Isle of Man event, and claiming to be the first ever 3D sports film.

The film gets close to the riders – most particularly Conor Cummins, John McGuinness, Ian Hutchinson and Guy Martin – as they fight for the ultimate prize and ponders why they risk so much – life and limb – for their sport.

What gives the film an added bonus is that it’s so well made you don’t have to be a mad-keen fan of motor-cycling to enjoy it.

Rev up and go see!
