Full Slane lineup announced

Mercury Prize winners Elbow and veteran rockers Thin Lizzy have been named among the support acts to join Kings of Leon on the bill for Slane 2011.

Also confirmed for the May 28 gig in the iconic Meath venue are White Lies, Mona and The Whigs.

Tickets for the gig, which marks 30 years of concerts in the castle owned by Lord Henry Mountcharles, sold out in under 40 minutes.

Elbow are recent visitors to Dublin, having sold out the 02 last Thursday. Their new album “Build a Rocket Boys,” was recently released to critical acclaim.
