Hudson credits 'unconventional' family with life ethic

Kate Hudson says her "unconventional" family has made her realise the importance of "happiness and honesty" with her loved ones.

The 'Fool's Gold' star - who has a seven-year-old son Ryder from her six-year marriage to Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson - was raised by her mother Goldie Hawn and stepfather Kurt Russell, who has parented her since she was three, and has numerous siblings.
