'Gavin And Stacey' star James Corden is “over the moon” after his fiancée gave birth to their first child.
Julia Carey gave birth to their son in a London hospital yesterday, according to reports.
Corden’s spokeswoman refused to confirm any details but said the couple were “both over the moon”.
The couple revealed they were engaged in December after announcing the pregnancy in September.
Corden appeared in teen soap Hollyoaks but got his big TV break in 2000 when he landed a regular role in the ITV1 series 'Fat Friends', where he met 'Gavin And Stacey' co-star Ruth Jones.
The actor, who played Smithy in the series, and Carey, a former TV producer who is now a charity worker, were introduced by his former flatmate, actor Dominic Cooper.
The pair appeared together in the stage and film version of Alan Bennett’s play 'The History Boys'.
