Rhys Meyers claim dropped

Cork actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been cleared of accusations of assault after the lawsuit was withdrawn by the alleged victim.

The 33-year-old star of The Tudors, above, was being sued by a United Airlines worker who claimed he verbally and physically abused her after he was barred from an early morning flight from JFK last May.
