The singer, who was married to 'EastEnders' star Shane Richie, has been a regular on the daytime panel show for a decade alongside stars including Carol McGiffin and Andrea McLean.

Creative director of ITV daytime and lifestyle Fiona Keenaghan said: “We have loved working with Coleen for the last 10 years and can’t thank her enough for the huge contribution she has made to the success of 'Loose Women'. She remains part of the ITV daytime family and we look forward to working with her on other projects.”

Viewers will see some new faces on the next series including broadcaster Janet Street Porter and comedian Sarah Millican who will join the panel on a regular basis.

Nolan, who rose to fame as a singer with her sisters, is the author of a novel called 'Denial'.

It tells the story of a team of presenters on a show called 'Girl Talk' suspected of murdering a television boss after they lose their jobs.
