St Patrick's Festival begins today

The five-day St Patrick's Festival in Dublin officially kicks off later with the annual open air céilí.

Organisers are encouraging everyone 'from nought to 90' to come along and take part in a jig or a reel.

It is free to join the event which starts at 4.30pm this afternoon at Stephen's Green in Dublin.
