McFly's Irish dates postponed

McFly has changed the dates of their upcoming gigs in Dublin and Belfast, it has been announced.

Illnesses in the band have been blamed for the move.

The new dates are April 4 at the O2 and April 3 the Odyssey.

All tickets purchased for the original concert dates are valid for the new dates.

Singer Danny Jones tweeted: 'Due to illnesses in the band Mcfly have had to move the first 3 dates of their forthcoming arena tour-to the end. They apologise for any inconvenience and hope their fans are understanding of the situation'

He later tweeted: "So sorry about having to move the first three shows...that's Nottingham, Belfast and Dublin. They are NOT cancelled just being moved. Thanks again for understanding us in this situation! But we gotta go what we gotta do!! Love you guys x.... "
