Stars gear up for IFTAs

The 8th Annual Irish Film and Television Awards will be broadcast live tonight from Dublin's Convention Centre.

The awards will be hosted by Irish actor Simon Delaney and a host of celebrities are expected to attend.

Golden Globe actress and 'Sex and the City' star Kim Cattrall will be announcing the winner of one award and actresses Brenda Fricker, Sinead Cusack and Angeline Ball are all set to attend the ceremony.

Nominees for best actress in a leading role in film/television are Ruth Bradley, Orla Brady, Amy Huberman, Charlotte McKenna and Sarah Flood.
