Danger lurks down under as a diving team exploring a cave system is forced to go deeper and deeper when a storm floods the caverns … all enhanced by the 3D, but not by a weak screenplay that fails to give a true depth to the threatened divers.

It’s a film that opts, successfully it must be admitted, for the nail-chewing tensions and dangers of the situation as the cavers fight to find a way out, but one damn thing after another doesn’t necessarily endear us to the explorers’ plight … we would like to have been given something more to round them out as personalities.
