Sky Atlantic to launch today

A new TV channel is being launched today, promising to bring viewers some of the world's most iconic shows.

Sky Atlantic will screen series such as 'The Sopranos', 'Mad Men' and 'Six Feet Under'.

It will also showcase new Prohibition drama 'Boardwalk Empire', which is directed by Martin Scorsese.

The critically acclaimed show starring Steve Buscemi and Kelly Macdonald recently won a Golden Globe for best drama series.
