Irish film 'The Guard' wins distribution deal

Irish film 'The Guard' has won a major distribution deal in the US after its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.

The movie which stars Brendan Gleeson has been picked up by Sony Pictures Classics.

The deal is said to be worth more than €1m.
