Fans spend €1.2bn on cinema tickets in 2010

Film fans spent more than €1.2bn at cinema box offices in 2010.

The year's highest grossing movie was 'Toy Story 3' which took €86.8m.

'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One' is at number 2 - with €59.5m.

According to the UK Film Council, international movie-makers spent more money than ever over here.

They've poured more than €1bn into making 28 films including Steven Spielberg's 'War Horse'.
