Diane Kruger’s latest film role forced her to re-evaluate her life.

The actress and former model – who is in a relationship with actor Joshua Jackson - plays a French journalist kidnapped by the Taliban in ‘Special Forces’ and she admitted researching the role by speaking to female journalists who had suffered the same fate caused her to rethink her own career.
