Lavigne gets deep on new record

Avril Lavigne is to release a “deeper, emotional” new album.

The Canadian singer – whose divorce from Deryck Whibley was finalised last month, insists her forthcoming single, ‘What the Hell’ is not representative of the rest of the material on her next record, ‘Goodbye Lullaby’.
