IMDB names 'Inception' as year's best film

'Inception' has been named the best movie of 2010 by users of the website IMDB.

It received the highest ratings from movie fans, ahead of 'Toy Story 3' and 'The Social Network'.

Johnny Depp beat 'Twilight' duo Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson to the title of top star of the year.

IMDB's annual rankings are not based on critical assessments or box-office performance, but are determined by the actual search behavior and movie ratings of the more than 100 million monthly unique users of the site.
