'Little Fockers' the poorest of the series

The third instalment clearly indicates that the series has run out of ideas.

Hoffman originally didn’t want to appear but was talked into making six short scenes … he clearly realized the game was up.

Here we have son-in-law Greg Focker (Stiller) attending a family get-together to see if he has it in him to become head honcho when patriarch Jack (De Niro) retires.

It is a witless, clapped-out effort, relying on tired in-law jokes and lame dialogue that adds nothing at all to a series that should now be taken into the back garden and buried.
