'X Factor' finalists record individual 'winning songs'
The 'X Factor' finalists have all recorded separate songs for the first time in case they win the show.
The show’s supremo Simon Cowell said it was a sensible move after the usual tactic of the finalists all recording versions of the same song.
He told a press conference in central London: “Each artist has got their own record which is completely geared to them and not singing one song.”
Show bosses remain tight-lipped on the chosen songs but rumours are rife Matt Cardle has prepared an unlikely sounding cover of a track by Scottish hard rockers Biffy Clyro.
Cardle is rumoured to have covered the track – 'Many of Horror' – which appeared on their Mercury-nominated album 'Only Revolutions'.
